Monday 11th May
Over the past few weeks we have had to sort out a few prescriptions for our patients, this has led to a few discussions with pharmacies in the area. We are pleased to report that in these stressful times that most of the pharmacists we have spoken to have been absolutely lovely, however we would especially like to mention the Great Glen Pharmacy at Drumnadrochit who consistently go above and beyond to help us. Due to this, today, Helen felt compelled to write them a wee thank you letter.
Obviously the repercussions of COVID-19 continues to dominate the headlines. Today Nicola Sturgeon slightly relaxed the lockdown rules in Scotland today as she feels that here, we should be allowed to exercise outside more than once a day……… the statistics for how many of us have actually managed to exercise even once a day is unknown…..

On Helens outing to the Whitebridge post-box today, she was dismayed to see so many of the locals being both nosey, and not adhering to the socially distancing rules! Here is photographic evidence!!

More about her story can be found on her JustGiving Page…
….as ever we are very proud of her for doing this. 😘
Today the rules on the lockdown in England (not Scotland) changed. This has caused great confusion as the people in England have been told to go back to work, if they can socially distance in their workplace and ideally not to use public transport in their commute.

Today, I finally got a photo from everybody of the hearts that Ionagh had sent to all the team. It has to be said that even though Ionagh is a bit of a dragon 🐉 , she is exceptionally kind and to receive a wee present like this definitely made everybodies day! It is wee things like this that makes us realise we will get through this weird time.
Keely was also up to her old tricks again today as she found a wee I’ll-looking hedgehog 🦔 in her garden. “Chunk” was taken by the SSPCA to be

It is really noticeable in and around the highlands how quite everywhere is, especially as this time of the year we are normally surrounded by tourists and campervans. Although the loss to the local economy will be devastating, the peace and quite is really quite nice. Here is a photo of a Ken’s new puppy demonstrating this fact on Nairn beach.

Sunday 17th May
Today is a very special day in Eden Dental Clinic’s calendar as it it Ken’s Birthday. He is obviously very special to us….. and we will definitely celebrate this event when we all get back together again!
