Monday 27th April
Thankfully throughout these uncertain times we are please to announce that Keely is managing to keep up her healthy diet by making sure she keeps her fruit intake up….. how she is managing to keep losing weight is a complete mystery…
Keely got very excited today as it is rumoured that the fast food chain McDonalds is to reopen some of its stores to provide a drive through service…. Obviously this fact did not impress Helen who is far too posh to consider such types of food!
Wednesday 29th April
Well Ken suffered yet another injury today by dropping a log on his foot…… the bets are on for when he loses at least one nail……
Thursday 30th April
Before the Lockdown we all guessed at when we would be back at work……. Today marks the first of the guessed dates (from Keely)…… she was wrong…
Ken returned to the practice today to oil the handpieces and run the compressors…… where he was met with a strange smell in the staff room…. he managed to locate that the odour was coming from Chelsea’s drawers… we feel she may have stumbled on the cure (or the cause for COVID-19)
Today is also mega fund-raiser Captain Tom Moores 100th birthday – he has now raised over £30million for the NHS.
Friday 1st May
Today it was reported the news that Llamas could be the key to providing anti-bodies to the COVID-19 virus. Obviously Keely (who is well known for her alpaca 🦙 obsession) was delighted at this as surely it now imperative that we get a practice pet. Helen baked some biscuits in celebration.
Saturday 2nd May
The best news of the day was that Keely’s 90year old relative had recovered from the COVID-19 virus. Obviously they are a tough family!
On a more negative note…… Bossken was knocked off his bike, thankfully there were no boney or lasting injuries As he was left just bruised, battered and with dented pride. We are not too sure how many injuries that Ken has suffered in lockdown… but it is safe to say that he needs to get back to work ASAP where we can keep an eye on him !! Thankfully he did not participate in naked gardening day….. as who knows what he would have pruned off…….
