Monday 20th April
You will begin to notice that these additions to the blog are becoming a bit more infrequent…….. this is basically because there is sod all to write about!!!!!
Ken went into work again today to check and run the equipment as we are worried that things may start to seize up if this doesn’t happen (I am referring to both Ken and the compressors!)
However fortunately for us the weather in the Highlands is definitely on the up and this has encourage all of us to frequent our gardens more. We do realise how lucky we are to live in this beautiful part of the UK. However everyone is starting to get a wee bit sunburnt!
Tuesday 21st April
It was decided today that Chelsea is going a bit (more) bonkers and spending too much time on social media….. this came to a head today as she found a Facebook page that was devoted to people who like to pretend that they are part of an ant colony………
Keely is still managing to keep her step count up on her daily (socially distancing) walk…. apart from the times when she hits the prosecco in her Garden….
Wednesday 22nd April
It has been noted in Inverness that the frequency of the traffic on the roads again seem to be increasing….. this is worrying as it implies that people are beginning to ignore the lockdown, which means it may be prolonged even longer.
Thursday 23rd April
On lockdown Ken seems to have found his hidden Mary Berry and seems to have produced some remarkable scones…… although, lets be honest, although they look good they may well be inedible.
Friday 24th April
It was announced today that the Captain Tom Moore, who is the war veteran who is walking laps of his garden to raise money for the NHS has not only raised nearly £30million, but has also topped the charts with a cover of “you’ll never walk alone”. As he turns 100 next week, this will make him the first centenarian to top the charts.
In the world news today it was also reported that Donald Trump has suggested that injecting disinfectant could be a treatment against COVID-19…….. this had led to statements by companies such a Dettol to advise against this…..
