❌❌❌❌Corona Virus Update August 18th 2020❌❌❌❌
We are continuing to follow government and health board guidelines in regards to the dental health of our patients.
We are now permitted to see private patients for routine dental care, however there are still many restrictions placed upon us and consequently we are operating at a much reduced capacity. We are currently contacting patients who have had problems during lockdown, or had their appointments cancelled by us throughout this time.
At this time we are not only permitted to see NHS patients for routine exams and if they have a dental emergency.
Our dentists Helen and Ken are working alternative days, with their dedicated dental nurses (to form clinical bubbles) so they can switch between surgeries and seeing only one patient per hour. This is to allow the recommended fallow time in each surgery to take place and enhanced cleaning to be performed. This also ensures minimal people in the clinic at one time.
Due to the restrictions on the amount of time a surgery has to “rest” between patient (known as fallow time). The amount of patients that we are able to see has been seriously reduced and consequently we are still prioritising patients who need treatment, are in pain, or had appointments cancelled due to lockdown. However if you are concerned with the length of time it has been since your examination and scale and polish, please phone the practice on 01463 226470 and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Before each appointment we are contacting out patients and asking them to complete a medical questionnaire and sign a consent form.
So please bear with us, as our phone line is currently extremely busy and we are working with a skeleton staff, but we are doing the best we can.
Obviously if you do have any queries , or problems, and are having difficulties contacting us via our busy phone line, please feel free to email or message us.
We will continue to help anyway we can and thank all our patients for their continued patience and support.
